109 W. Central was built in the 1880s by Mr I. B. Gilmore who was an officer at Peoples Bank. In the early 1900s, it was a Keith Grocery Co., then later Thomas & Keith Grocery Co. It was in the 1930s Marinello Beauty Salon & The Robin Shop (Dry Goods).
In 1919, 109 & 111 Central housed Kerr & Callison Furniture & Hardware Store. At that time the fascia on the outside of the two buildings at 109 & 111 matched each other. In the 1940s into the 1950s, it was Bentonville (Lindley) Variety Store. In the 1960s, G. J. Bonds Insurance was located here. In the 1970s, the City Auditor and James (Jim) Henry were in the building. In the late 1970s, Brown and Deskin Accounting were here.
