111 W.   Central
What's Ahead

111 W. Central - The building was built back in the 1880's, for Dr. W. R. Davis at a cost of $3000.00.  In the early 1900's it was the Boston Store. Around 1919 it is believed that the left side of this building was Kerr & Callison Furniture. At that time the address was 9 W. 12th St., but the city's street names and numbering system changed after that time. In the 1930's to 1950's,

Crow Drug Store & Ora A. Pace Watch Repair were at this location. . Bentonville Insurance and Reality was located in the upstairs in the 1960's and 1970's. In the 1970's, Mayhall Barbershop occupied 111-A West Central. Gene's Barber Shop later purchased the store from Mayhall.

Most recently the building has been occupied by What's Ahead? after undergoing an extensive renovation.
