407 W. Central, the Vol Lindsey/Baldwin House, was built in 1910 and has been beautifully restored. Vol Lindsey was a prominent lawyer in Benton County. This dwelling is similar to two others on Central (301 and 308). It is believed that all three were built by the same builder. Note the half wrap porch with single columns on cut brownstone piers. The home is done in a Queen Anne style. In the 1950s the property included a stable and horse lot in back to house Vol's beautiful trotter horses.
