702 W. Central -The Dickson-Woods house was built in 1895. In 1904, there was a divorce between Judge Dickson and his wife. At that time, the house was cut in half. This half of the previous house was moved to this site by the wife. The other half was said to have been moved up around where Stevenson's Restaurant use to be at the north end of Bella Vista, but that part no longer exists. The Colonial Revival style porch on the house was added later. When the new owners were restoring the house, they found old needlework (still in the hoop,) a bottle dating from 1898, and old newspapers in the walls upstairs. The home is reflective of the Folk Victorian style.
